Wow what a year so far. And it’s accelerating like the expanding universe we live within. Good times.
My studio here in old SD is really swinging. gearing up plenty of surprises (I like to keep secrets too!) for
probably the next 2 years. One thing I’ve discovered is that sculpting pulls the energy and turns the brain to jelly.
I think I like my jelly brain as long as I can give you cool toys.
Another thing is, going from sculpting back to painting is a really rough transition. I usually get the groove back around lunchtime.
You start sculpting in the morning, and before you know it it’s time to sleep. Life’s too damn short I tells ya!
Anyway…
If you happen to be in San Diego on May 29th there’s a cool event at Gunnzo.
I will be hanging out, supporting the custom movement (I consider it a movement!), and judging a contest.
Should be fun! Show up and give Gunnzo some good ol’ toy community support! Chika’s super cool and her shop is really adorable!
As far as this weeks wax mashing, here’s a little preview of the three dudes wearing really cheesy tree suits.

nice waxwork. really liken’ Old Sappy sculpt. So you sculpt as well as you paint? You talented bastard, you. Hope to see these survive and make it to production some day.
